WNDR Academy
Refund policy
Last updated: 3 Sept 2026
Scope
This policy explains when a purchase on WNDR Academy can be cancelled and refunded. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions and is applied in accordance with the E-Commerce Law and its Implementing Regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
What the platform provides is digital content and training services delivered electronically and immediately, and that determines the nature of the cancellation right described below.
The statutory right and its exception
The E-Commerce Law gives consumers a right to cancel and obtain a refund within seven days of contracting. However, the Implementing Regulations exclude from that right digital content supplied in non-tangible form once performance has begun or the consumer has started using it, as well as services whose delivery began with the consumer's consent before the cancellation period expired.
Accordingly, by accepting this policy at checkout you expressly request immediate performance of the service, and you acknowledge that your right of cancellation lapses as soon as you access the course content.
When the right of cancellation lapses
Performance is treated as having begun, and the right to cancel and be refunded lapses, on any of the following:
- Playing any course video, in whole or in part.
- Opening any written lesson, or downloading any course file or attachment.
- Joining any live session or watching its recording.
- Starting any quiz or making any assignment submission.
- Downloading a completion certificate or copying its verification link.
When you are entitled to a full refund
You are entitled to a full refund where both conditions are met:
- The request is made within seven days of purchase.
- You have not accessed any part of the course content in the ways listed above.
This is verified from your account activity record on the platform.
Live programs and cohorts
- Where a course is tied to a cohort with a set start date, you may cancel and be refunded in full before the first live session takes place, provided you have not accessed the recorded content.
- After the first session has taken place, no refund is due, because the service has actually begun.
- A learner's absence from sessions is not a ground for a refund where the sessions were held as scheduled and their recordings were made available.
Cases where we refund regardless
Irrespective of the above, we refund in full in the following cases:
- The academy cancels the course or the cohort, before or during delivery.
- The content could not be made available because of a technical fault on our side that we were unable to resolve within a reasonable period.
- Duplicate charges or an incorrect transaction amount.
- A material difference between how the course was described at the time of purchase and what was actually delivered.
Cases where no refund is due
- Free enrolments, where nothing was paid.
- Accounts closed or suspended for breach of the Terms and Conditions, in particular intellectual property breaches and account sharing.
- A change of mind after the learner has begun using the content.
- The learner's device or internet connection not meeting the course requirements published in advance.
How to request a refund
Send your request to academy@wndr.sa including:
- The order number or tax invoice number.
- The course name.
- The reason for the request.
We review the request and reply with a reasoned decision within three business days. Where approved, the refund is processed within seven days of approval.
How refunds are paid
- The amount is returned to the same method used for payment.
- Where payment was made through instalment or buy-now-pay-later services, the amount is returned to that provider, and settling your instalments with them is governed by their terms.
- Banks and payment providers may need additional time for the amount to appear in your account, which is outside our control.
VAT and invoices
When a refund is processed, a credit note linked to the original tax invoice is issued. It covers the refunded amount and the corresponding value added tax, and is available in your account.
Cancelling without a refund
You may stop using the platform or ask to close your account at any time. That does not entitle you to a refund unless one of the cases set out in this policy applies.
Escalation
If you are not satisfied with the decision on your request, you may contact us to have it reconsidered, and you may also file a complaint with the Ministry of Commerce through its approved consumer protection channels.
